Two trim levels available for GMC Yukon

There are two trim levels available for the GMC Yukon – the SLT and the base SLE.  The base SLE comes with foglamps, front bucket seats, console, keyless entry, dual-zone airconditioning, eight-speaker audio system, auxiliary input jack, satellite radio, rear-seat control, six-way power driver, OnStar telematics and 17-inch wheels made of alloy.  The SLT is just like the base SLE, except that it has added features such as triple section vehicle climate control, remote vehicle start, power-adjustable pedals, leather seating, rear parking aid, OnStar turn by turn navigation and 6 disc changer. 

There is also the Yukon Denali, which is the most sophisticated type.  This model involves all the already mentioned features and 18-inch alloy wheels, power lift gate, one-of-a-kind grille, heated 2nd row and adaptive suspension. 

Yukon also includes numerous engines.  The most respected is the 5.3 V8 engine that includes GM’s trademark cylinder deactivation system for better fuel usage.  The SLE has a 5.3 liter V8 that generates 320 h.p. and 340 pound-feet of torque or a 4.8 liter V8 having a 305 pound-feet torque with 295 hp.  The SLE can tow as much as 8,200 lbs.  Customers may choose between a two-wheel and four-wheel drive. 

GMC Yukon also has some safety features such as full-length side airbags, antilock disc brakes and stability control that have always been present in all Yukons.  You may be guaranteed the Yukon is safe since it achieved a 5-star rating from the NHTSA.
